Room 106

Welcome to Room 106! I am hoping for a fun and educational year for you all. I pray that you are successful in 8th grade Language Arts and Georgia Studies. I will be working to help you all meet your goals.
From time to time, I will list resources and activities on this site. You will find them useful in adding to what we are working on in the classroom. It is important for you to become familiar with the Internet and technology as you move closer into high school and college. For many of you, being competent in the use of the computer will prove to be an important job skill after you graduate.
We will be typing our writing assignments, becoming familiar with online resources and reference tools, utilizing spellcheckers and other aspects of word processing, and learning in new ways through the computer. We will search for and analyze web resources for what we need to be informed about assessments such as the 8th grade Writing Assessment, 8th grade ELA CRCT, and the 8th grade Georgia Studies CRCT. We want to start with the end in mind, so we can better focus on our goals.
I am looking forward to a great year with you all! I know you are going to make us proud at Rothschild Middle School this year! Work hard and stay focused!!
