Hi, Students,
This week we'll begin our CRCT Boot Camp! We'll have practice daily and routine drills to cover those things that we'll be covering on the CRCT in both English Language Arts and Georgia Studies. We will continue reading A Matter of Trust and practicing reading strategies. We will change the day of tutoring in Room 214 to Tuesdays (3:45 to 5:00). Additionally, tutoring for math is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and we'll have Saturday School nearly every Saturday (with exceptions for holidays). Hope to see you in class!

Hello Students,
This week is our 8th grade Writing Assessment and we will be honoring the memory of Dr. King Jr. when we practice reading strategies to read his sermon "Loving Your Enemies". Additionally, we'll be taking a look back in history in Georgia Studies to better understand the events and happenings of the Civil War in Georgia.
See you in class.

Hi Students,
This week we'll continue working on Reading Strategies as we Respond to the Literature that we are reading in our English Language Arts classroom. Additionally, we'll continue looking at Antebellum Georgia and the start and events of the Civil War. Come to class prepared to work and you won't be disappointed. We'll be spending Fridays in review for the upcoming CRCT in both subjects. See you soon!
